INTEGRATIONS

Connect every system through the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)

Enterprise Service Bus — one exchange point for data between ERP, CRM, WMS and every other system. Routing, transformation, monitoring — no spaghetti architecture.

Enterprise Service Bus — enterprise integration bus
The problem

What happens without ESB

Without a service bus, your architecture turns into spaghetti. Every new integration is one more fragile bridge that can collapse.

Spaghetti architecture

Point-to-point looks simple with 2-3 systems. At 10+ systems it becomes 45 connectors, each with its own format, protocol and error-handling logic.

N²
growth in the number of links

Impossible to debug

Which system broke? Where did the message get stuck? With no single monitoring center, every failure is a detective investigation. And retry after one system goes down is a manual process.

×5
longer to find errors

Vendor lock-in

Need to add a field to an entity? You need a developer for every system. Swap out your CRM? Rewrite every connector. With ESB, you change one adapter and everything else keeps working.

100%
dependence on vendors
Architecture

Point-to-point vs integration through ESB

5 systems direct pairwise = 10 connectors. 10 systems = 45. ESB solves it once and for all.

Without ESB — chaos

  • ✕ Every new system = N new links
  • ✕ One link fails → cascading outage
  • ✕ Support costs grow quadratically

With ESB — order

  • New system = 1 connector to the bus
  • Dead letter queue, retry, monitoring
  • Costs grow linearly

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about how we work, what it costs, and what you can expect

Basic (3-5 systems): from $25,000. Enterprise (10+ systems, cluster): from $75,000. Highload (100K+ msg/sec): from $150,000.
from $25K
basic ESB
Pilot (2 systems): 2-4 weeks. Full ESB: 2-4 months. Enterprise with data migration: 4-6 months.
Up to 3 systems — direct APIs are cheaper. From 4+ — ESB wins: unified monitoring, standard formats, easy addition of new systems. Support savings — 40%.
An API Gateway is the entry point for external requests (authorization, rate limiting, routing). ESB is the internal integration bus: data transformation between systems, business-process orchestration, message queues. In large projects they work together: Gateway at the front, ESB inside.
The practical threshold is 4-5 systems. At 3 systems, point-to-point is still manageable (3 integrations). At 5 — already 10 integrations. At 10 — 45. ESB pays off when the cost of maintaining spaghetti architecture exceeds the cost of implementing the bus. That usually happens at 5+ systems.
Nothing is lost. ESB queues the messages (Dead Letter Queue) and automatically retries delivery once the system is back. You get a failure notification, and after recovery all data is delivered in the correct order. This is the fundamental difference from point-to-point, where data is simply lost.
Yes, and that's the recommended approach. Start with the 2-3 most problematic integrations, prove the result, then connect the remaining systems. Each new integration through ESB is one connector, not a rebuild of the whole architecture. A typical first phase takes 4-8 weeks.
ESB is a centralized bus for exchanging data between systems. Instead of N×N direct integrations — one exchange point. 10 systems through ESB = 10 connectors; without ESB = 45 integrations.
When 3+ systems exchange data: ERP + CRM + website + warehouse + marketplaces. Without a bus — integration chaos. With ESB — unified rules, monitoring, automatic delivery retries.
By scale and budget. For medium loads — lightweight message brokers. For highload — distributed streaming platforms. For ecosystem integrations — iPaaS solutions. We select the optimal stack for your use case.
Delivery guarantee: every message is processed at least once. Persistent queues, automatic retries with increasing backoff, a separate queue for problem messages. Monitoring on every transaction.

ESB Rollout Roadmap: Your 90-Day Plan

An integration bus goes live best in focused 30-day sprints. Each sprint delivers working data flows, so the business sees value long before the final cutover. Here is the exact sequence we follow on every ESB engagement.

1

Days 1-30: Discovery & Architecture

Map every system and data flow, define the canonical data model, and design routing, transformation, and error-handling rules. Select broker topology and size the cluster for your peak message volume.

2

Days 31-60: Core Integration Build

Connect the first two or three critical systems through the bus. Configure transformations, dead-letter queues, and automatic retries. Stand up the monitoring dashboard so every message is traceable end to end.

3

Days 61-90: Scale & Cutover

Migrate the remaining direct pairwise links onto the bus, load-test at 10K+ messages per second, and train your team on the console. Go live in production with parallel running and zero lost messages.

Architecture

Why your business needs an integration bus

When a company runs 10+ systems, every new direct pairwise integration doubles the chaos. ESB replaces spaghetti architecture with a single hub.

A single integration point

10 systems without ESB = 45 integrations (each to each). With ESB = 10 connectors to the bus. Adding an 11th system without ESB = 10 new integrations. With ESB = 1 connector. The math beats the chaos.

×4.5
fewer integrations at 10 systems

Data transformation

NetSuite hands off XML, your CRM expects JSON, the warehouse talks SOAP. ESB translates formats on the fly: field mapping, currency conversion, date normalization. Every system works in its own format — the bus adapts, not the other way around.

real-time
transformation between formats

Fault tolerance

If the CRM goes down — orders aren't lost. ESB queues the messages and retries delivery once the system is back. A Dead Letter Queue holds unprocessed messages. Monitoring on every data flow means you learn about a problem in minutes, not days.

ONE BUS — EVERY SYSTEM

Your 15 systems finally speaking one language

CRM can't see ERP. The warehouse doesn't know about orders. Accounting enters data by hand. Sound familiar? An integration bus solves it once and for all.

−80%
Manual work

All data syncs automatically. The 5 accountants who used to re-key data now focus on analytics.

Real-time
Synchronization

Data updates across systems instantly. An order on the website is immediately in the warehouse, the CRM and accounting.

Any system

We connect any system: NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce, custom-built solutions. A new system? It's added in days, not months.

Architecture

What ESB is made of

Four key components that turn integration chaos into a manageable system.

Auditor

The central management module: logging of every event, a visual interface to view queues and data flows. You see every message — where it came from, where it went, how long processing took.

360°view of every flow

Message broker

Determines the order, priority and route of every message in real time. Guarantees delivery even when one system goes down temporarily — messages are buffered and resent automatically.

99.9%delivery guarantee

Connectors

Ready-made adapters to connect to any system: REST API, SOAP, FTP, AMQP, Kafka, databases. A connector defines where to pull data from and where to send it — no code for each integration.

200+ready-made connectors

Integration builder

A visual low-code environment: a business analyst assembles integrations by dragging and dropping blocks. Developers step in only for non-standard logic. The result — less code, fewer bugs, a faster launch.

ASICS

Japanese manufacturer of athletic footwear and apparel

With ESB they built unified API interfaces for their e-commerce platform: customer data, order statuses, prices and inventory — pulled from different stores into a single flow. The hardest part — wiring the connections — took just a few hours.

We had ERP, CRM, and warehouse systems all talking through brittle point-to-point links. The ESB they implemented replaced that spaghetti with one managed bus. Adding a new system used to take months of custom work — now it's a matter of days.

Data transformation between systems was our constant pain — every integration reinvented the wheel. The bus centralized routing and mapping, and now everything speaks a common language. Monitoring means we spot a failed message immediately instead of hearing about it from a customer.

They understood enterprise integration, not just coding. The routing and message handling they set up survived our acquisition of two smaller distributors without a rebuild. That flexibility alone justified the project.
