Business Outreach Notice

This Business Outreach Notice explains how AWDS obtains and uses business contact details when we reach out to companies about our web design and development services. If you received a message from us, this page tells you exactly what information we hold about your business, where it came from, why we hold it, and how to opt out at any time.

This is a separate notice from our Privacy and Cookie Policy, which covers visitors to this Website. This notice addresses business contacts we approach directly, so the data was collected about you rather than provided by you.

Who This Notice Is For

We contact people in their professional, business capacity — for example a company's published business email or the contact listed on a company website. We do not target private individuals, and we do not collect or use special-category personal data (such as health, political, or religious information). If you were contacted as a consumer rather than as a business, please let us know and we will remove you.

Where We Get Your Information

Because we contact companies proactively, your details were not provided by you. They come only from publicly accessible sources, where a company or professional has chosen to publish business contact information:

Professional Networking Platforms — public company and professional profiles that display business role and contact information.
Public Company Websites — contact and "about" pages where a business publishes its own email, phone, or contact form.
Public Social & Video Profiles — business-facing profiles (for example on video and short-form platforms) that publish a business website or contact email in the profile.
Public Directories & Search Results — business directories and general web search results that index publicly available company information.

We take reasonable steps to confirm that a contact genuinely belongs to the company in question before we hold it, and we discard details we cannot verify as business contacts.

What We Collect

Business Identity — a contact name, business role or job title, and company name.
Business Contact Details — a work email address, business phone number, and company website.
Public Profile Link — the address of the public page or profile the information came from, so we have a record of its source.
Provenance & Quality Signals — the source and date of collection and a basic deliverability check, so we keep our records accurate and avoid contacting the wrong company. We never build behavioural or advertising profiles.

Why We Process It & Our Legal Basis

We use business contact details for one purpose: to make a relevant, initial approach to a company that may benefit from our web design and development services, and to follow up if there is interest.

Under the GDPR, our lawful basis for collecting and holding this business contact data is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in promoting our services to relevant companies — balanced against your interests and rights. We limit ourselves to business-context data from public sources for this reason.

You have the right to object. Under Article 21 GDPR you can object to this processing at any time, and where you do we will stop and remove your details. See How to Opt Out below.

Consent Before We Message You

Holding a contact and messaging it are two separate steps. A collected contact is not added to any sending list until a consent record exists for that channel, together with a record of when, how, and from which address it was given. Where local law — such as Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ and advertising rules — requires prior consent before we contact you, we obtain that consent or we never contact you.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out at any time, for free:

  • Use the unsubscribe link included in every message we send you — one click removes you.
  • Or email ok@awds.io with your company name or the address we used, and we will remove you.

We action opt-out requests promptly and keep a minimal suppression record so you are not contacted again.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your business contact data. We use a small number of trusted service providers, acting on our instructions, to store our contact records and to deliver and verify messages — for example cloud storage and CRM providers, and workflow-automation and message-delivery providers. They may process data only for us and under confidentiality obligations.

Data Retention

We keep business contact data only for as long as it serves the outreach purpose described here, and we review it periodically. If you opt out or object, we remove the contact from active use and keep only the minimal information needed on a suppression list — kept so we can honour your choice and not contact you again.

Your Rights

  • Ask what data we hold about you and get a copy
  • Have inaccurate details corrected
  • Have your data deleted
  • Object to our outreach and opt out
  • Restrict how we use your data
  • Withdraw any consent you gave
  • Complain to a data protection authority
