Omikor — a redesign of the corporate website and catalog
An in-depth redesign of the corporate presence of a manufacturing company: from a refreshed catalog and navigation to a new brand book and logo.
About the project
Omikor came to us with a task to completely rethink its digital presence. The existing corporate website did not reflect the company’s scale and professionalism: an outdated design, awkward catalog navigation and no mobile responsiveness. The company needed a comprehensive redesign that covered not only a visual refresh but also a rework of the catalog structure.
We started with an audit of the current website and an analysis of competitors in the manufacturing industry. The results showed that the main problems were in how the product catalog was presented: users spent too much time looking for the items they needed. An expanded menu and interactive sliders became the key solutions for improving navigation and visitor engagement.
Alongside the website redesign, we developed an updated brand book and company logo. The new visual identity emphasizes Omikor’s reliability, technological edge and professionalism. A unified style was applied to every touchpoint: from business cards and presentations to the website interface and product catalog.
We paid special attention to cross-browser compatibility — the website works correctly in all modern browsers, and motion effects add dynamism without hurting performance. The expanded navigation menu lets users move quickly between catalog sections without losing the context of the current page.

Key solutions
The main technical and design solutions delivered in the Omikor project
Catalog redesign
A complete rework of the product catalog structure with a focus on easy search and navigation. The hierarchical organization lets users find the items they need in as few clicks as possible. Filtering by parameters and visual previews make it easier for corporate clients to choose products.
Motion effects
Interactive sliders and scroll animations give the website a modern look and hold visitors’ attention. Each effect is carefully optimized for performance, running smoothly even on mid-range devices. Transitions between catalog pages are accompanied by subtle loading animations.
Expanded navigation
The catalog menu with visual category previews lets users instantly gauge what a section contains before opening it. The multi-level navigation adapts to the screen size: expanded previews on desktop and a compact accordion menu on mobile that keeps full functionality and convenience.
Brand book and logo
Omikor’s new visual identity reflects the company’s values: reliability, technological edge and professionalism. The brand book includes guidelines for using the logo, color palette, typography and graphic elements. A unified style makes the brand recognizable across all communication channels.
The redesign process
Work on the Omikor redesign began with a deep dive into the specifics of the client’s business. We studied the target audience (corporate buyers, engineers, production managers), their typical scenarios for using the website and the pain points of the existing solution. Based on this research, we defined the key requirements for the new design.
Prototyping was iterative: every version of the mockup was reviewed and approved with the client’s team. We paid special attention to catalog navigation, since it had drawn the most complaints from users of the old website. The final solution, with an expanded menu and visual category previews, made finding the right products much easier.
The brand book was developed in parallel with the interface design. The updated logo kept the original’s recognizability but got a modern graphic treatment. The color palette was expanded for digital channels, and the typography guidelines were adapted for on-screen reading.
Technical implementation details
The technical implementation of the Omikor website took the specifics of the corporate segment into account: high demands for reliability, compatibility with a wide range of devices and browsers, and the need for convenient catalog management. The content management system lets company staff update the catalog, add new items and edit descriptions on their own, without involving developers.
Motion effects are built with modern animation techniques that run smoothly on a variety of devices. All animations are turned off when power-saving mode is on or the connection is slow, so the content stays accessible in any conditions. Interactive catalog elements load asynchronously without blocking the main content.
Implementation details
Cross-browser compatibility
The website was tested in all major browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer. Since corporate clients often use outdated browser versions, we paid special attention to making the functionality display correctly in different environments. Graceful degradation ensures that key features remain available even in older browsers.
Interactive sliders
The home page and catalog sections feature interactive sliders with swipe support on mobile devices. The sliders showcase products, company news and promotions. Automatic rotation is complemented by manual controls, so users set their own viewing pace.
Catalog structure
The product catalog is organized from general to specific: categories → subcategories → product items. Filters by key specifications are available at every level. Product cards contain the main parameters, photos and an option to request a detailed specification. Breadcrumbs help users find their way through the deep catalog structure.
Responsive layout
Every page of the website is adapted for mobile devices and tablets. The content grid rearranges itself based on screen width while keeping text readable and navigation convenient. Product images load at the optimal resolution for each device, which speeds up loading on mobile connections.
