A social network for architects and designers
An online service where architects and designers showcase projects, find colleagues and exchange ideas — a professional community in one place.
A platform for a professional community
We designed an online service — a social network for architects and designers. The goal: bring professionals together in one space where it is easy to show their work and find each other.
At its core is the visual presentation of projects: portfolios, a feed of work and communication tools. The design keeps members’ projects front and center on the screen.

More about the project
Challenge and solution
The social network was built around private communities: feed, profiles, messaging and moderation — the whole loop in a single product. The architecture handles audience growth without rewriting the core: the load is distributed across services, and new content types are added as modules.
The key challenge was balancing privacy and engagement: visibility settings work at the level of each post, while the feed stays lively thanks to recommendations within permitted circles. We design products like this as part of custom development.
Technical setup
Messaging works in real time, the feed is assembled individually for each member, and moderation combines automatic filters with manual review of reports. The admin panel shows community dynamics and helps spot spikes in activity before they turn into a load problem.
What the launch showed
Private communities proved more resilient than open feeds: members come back to their circles, not to endless scrolling. Moderation with manual review of reports kept the tone of conversation in check without heavy-handed censorship — the rules are visible to everyone, and decisions are explained. This social network confirmed the client’s hypothesis: niche communities are monetized through loyalty, not advertising reach.
Handover and growth
The product was handed over with an architecture map and a scaling plan: which components to strengthen first as the audience grows and which metrics signal that limits are approaching. This plan spares the owner from emergency decisions at peak load — the scenarios are worked out in advance.
The project showed that the success of a niche platform depends not on a feature set but on the quality of moderation and the speed of the feed — and those are the two components where we built in the main safety margin.
The product core is ready for white-labeling for new communities.
